Max Morrison

Born with cars in his blood and raised with German engineering on the brain, Max Morrison first picked up the scent of Audi and Volkswagen after catching rides from friends in their parents’ cars. It was the lure of luxurious interiors—where he loved to spend time appreciating the attention to material and sleek design—that ultimately hooked him. This became the bar against which all other inner auto anatomy would be compared.

But before Morrison could sate the unshakable craving for the VW and Audi brands, he paid his dues washing and waxing all 200+ Hot Wheels on his lot, lining them up like a mini dealership. From there, he graduated to owning golf carts, go karts, and lawnmowers, finally getting his first car and then his first German car, a 2001 VW Passat.

Fast-forward 13 years, Morrison has owned countless Volkswagens and Audis… and even a non-German standout or two like his 1991 Honda Prelude Si 4WS. To this day, he still misses his 2016 Audi A4 but has a 2004 Volkswagen R32 and a 2003 Audi Allroad in his current collection to keep the garage warm at night. If he could drive anything, though? That’d be an Audi, of course, to the tune of 2018 S8 Plus.

Prior to joining Berg Performance as the parts and operations manager, Morrison built up his skills and qualifications working for both Audi and VW in parts and service for a combined 10 years. He’s held positions from parts consultant and wholesale and assistant parts managers to acting service manager. Morrison and Berg are a match made in high-energy, high-speed heaven, where he’s been known and counted on to spread his infectious positive attitude, loud voice and genuine transparency.

If you cut Morrison in half, four rings would fall out… four rings and chicken wings, his favorite food.
